The HTC Vive virtual reality headset has dropped to $499 through HTC. You can also find it at that price at a variety of retailers like Walmart, Newegg and Best Buy. The Vive has sold for $599 since last August's huge $200 price drop. Since that drop, most deals we've seen required some sort of bundle. If you just want the main system at its best price, this is the deal for you.

The HTC Vive is one of the most popular virtual reality systems out there, and VR Heads has a great guide if you've never used one before. The games you play will track the movement of your headset and the controllers you hold, giving you a full body virtual reality experience. The system comes with a free digital code for Fallout 4 VR, but there are more and more great VR games every day, including some music punching games if you're interested.
