Apple held its quarterly earnings call today where Apple CEO Tim Cook and CFO Luca Maestri spoke with analysts about the first quarter of 2017. Here's the highlights of that meeting.
Apple sold 78.3 million iPhones, 13 million iPads and 5.3 million Macintosh computers in the first quarter of 2017. The Company posted all-time record quarterly revenue of $78.4 billion.
Q1 2017 was also the best quarter ever for Apple Watch with demand so high they couldn't make enough.
Tim Cook uses Siri and HomeKit to turn on lights, lock the doors, and get his home ready as he pulls into the driveway. He noted that just a few years ago, this type of connected home was unheard of.
