Here are the best new iPhone games out and on sale now!

Here's what's new in iOS gaming this week!

Every Thursday I go on a quest to find all the notable new games released on the App Store over the week, but instead of taking all the gold and experience for myself, I pass my knowledge on to you! Whether you're looking for new games, games on-sale, or wondering if your favorite game got a big update, I'll break down all the notable iOS gaming news for you!

New games of the week

Need something new and shiny? Every week tons of games hit the App Store, and I keep track, so you don't have to; here are the notable releases for this week.

Vingettes

Vignettes —much like the name implies — is a casual game that offers very little instruction. It's more like a series of mini-interactions with objects on the screen.

As you explore the game, you'll notice that there are no text or characters. The objective is to shapeshift the objects you encounter by spinning them around. Drag your finger on the screen to rotate an object, and tap to interact with said object.

SCRAP

What happens when a robot wakes up and decides to run away from his creators? You get a very fun auto-runner platformer called SCRAP.

SCRAP is a tiny robot and you need to escape the factory where he was built, and SCRAP just won't stop running! You'll need to jump from platform to platform and learn new sequences to discover the way out!

Each level gets harder and SCRAP get faster, meaning your reflexes have to be top-notch.

Ninja Pizza Girl

In the not-so-distance future, traffic has become so terrible that the only way to deliver pizza on time is by running them by couriers.

Ninja Pizza Girl lets you parkour across rooftops as Gemma, the pizza delivery girl for her father's pizzeria. You'll need to run, jump, and fight your way to all your deliveries in order to save the family business.

The silly premise is actually in contrast to the intense gameplay and storyline. The corrupt rich control society and many people are forced into slums where living is tough.

Parkour, pizza, and pandemonium, what could go wrong?

Games on sale this week

Good things come to those who wait! Every week games go on sale, and you can take advantage of great savings. Here are the notable sales of this week.

March to a Million

Down from $4.99 to $2.99, March to a Million is a fun and colorful simulation game.

You own a record company and you'll need to manage it by signing talent, booking gigs for your stars, and grabbing sponsorships deals.

The more superstars you create the bigger your record label can become, so make your choices wisely!

Updates of the week

Games are constantly being updated with new features, bug fixes, and gameplay tweaks. Here are the notable updates for this week.

Fire Emblem Heroes: New heroes are available to summon in Fire Emblem Heroes, including Ike, Soren, and Mist from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance! Plus, Nintendo has added new paralogues missions so there are even more orbs to collect! Check out the announcement board inside the game for all the details.

Luke's game of the week.

Stagehand

Technically, this week's game recommendation comes from our very own Serenity Caldwell, but I am so glad she introduced me to this game because it's a ton of fun.

This zany twist on the auto-runner keeps Frank, your protagonist, running and jumping forward at all times — instead of making him move, you control the scenery, platforms, and banners during his journey. Fail to move a platform down or up so that he can jump, and he may well get squished by the side of the screen.

In Serenity's own words:

"It's gorgeous. It's funny. And it will drive you crazy as you try to figure out how to beat your friends. (Or distract you into a lake of lava as you realize you're about to beat one.) What's not to like?"
