Assassin's Creed Origins gets its first story expansion this month

Assassin's Creed Origins launched a few months ago, and since then Ubisoft has released a lot of great add-ons for the game. Today, the publisher revealed what players can expect in January 2018.

While previous content has been limited to combat events and various costume packs, this month marks the launch of The Hidden Ones. The Hidden Ones is Assassin's Creed Origins' first story expansion which focuses on the Roman occupation. Bayek and his Assassins will clash with the force in an all-new region of the game. The base game deals with topics like preserving the Ancient Egyptian way of life in a changing world, so expect The Hidden Ones to touch upon similar themes.
