The Sun's masthead gets reimagined by David Hockney... on his iPad!
Renowned artist, David Hockney, has created a new logo for Britain's The Sun... on his iPad.
The Yorkshire-born artist, whose paintings sell for millions of pounds, decided to do the artwork because he considers The Sun to be a great British icon.
He said: "I was delighted to be asked. Once I thought about the idea it didn't take me long. The sun and The Sun. I love it."
It's not the first time work created on iPad has been featured on the cover of a national magazine and it won't be last. That's what happens when you create a computer that's not just a computer but a tool that enables an even greater range of human expression.
The Sun will have Hockney's full interview, alongside the special masthead, in tomorrow's edition.
