Need for Speed Payback gets progression-system update following community feedback

Many of you may have heard of Star Wars Battlefront II's loot crate system and slow progression problems.

Before pulling the microtransactions, EA required gamers to spend additional funds on loot crates to get Star Cards and other materials in order to gain multiplayer advantages and unlock heroes.

However, there's another EA game which suffers from a similar problem but hasn't received much attention. Need for Speed Payback launched a little over a week ago and since then many gamers have had issues with its progression system. It's very slow and requires you to wait around. Today, developers Ghost Games announced fixes that make earning rewards easier. If you're currently playing the game, you'll have to restart it for the changes to take effect.
