Download new games for free every month through Twitch Prime's newest service
What's better than free stuff? More free stuff.
Twitch Prime's newest service really doesn't matter if you're not an Amazon Prime member, so go sign up after you read this article. For video gamers, it's quickly becoming one of the best deals on the Internet.
If you don't own a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One you might not know about this, but every month Sony and Microsoft release free games to users who pay for the online subscription service. For example, Xbox Live's Games with Gold for March include two games for the Xbox 360 and two games for the Xbox One. If you own the latter, that's four free games a month since the free games are always backwards compatible. Sony does a similar thing for PlayStation (was the first to do this, actually), and console gamers everywhere love this system. I mean, who wouldn't? We're talking about free video games here. Sometimes you haven't heard of all the games, but sometimes you see big indie games like Superhot, which we'll come back to in a moment.
The thing is, PC gamers don't really have an equivalent. PC gamers have the convenience and the freedom to shop wherever they want and get their games from a multitude of sources. They also don't pay for a gamer's right to online multiplayer outside of MMORPG subscriptions. However, that also means there's no dedicated platform rushing to throw free games around every month... until now.
