Microsoft is bringing HoloLens to 29 new markets starting today
HoloLens is coming to 29 new European markets starting today, new feature update coming early next year.
Microsoft has today announced that it is bringing HoloLens to an additional 29 markets starting today, up from the 10 markets it was available in previously. That means HoloLens is now available in 39 new markets, and continues to be targeted at developers and businesses.
Unfortunately, Microsoft hasn't announced any price drops for HoloLens, meaning you'll still be paying a considerable amount if you're planning to get yourself a new HoloLens. The device coming to more markets is part of Microsoft's continued business push.
Since our launch in 2016 it has been inspiring to see how customers and partners around the world are using HoloLens to transform their business. HoloLens is being used every day to help people collaborate, communicate, create, and learn.
Microsoft also says it's planning to release a new feature update to HoloLens early next year, likely alongside the Windows 10 Redstone 4 release. Existing HoloLens owners will know the device hasn't received any major updates since the Anniversary Update in 2016, so this is good news.
