What is SteamVR integration bringing to Windows Mixed Reality?

Windows Mixed Reality has been opened up to SteamVR thanks to a free preview app, and it's bringing a lot of changes to the platform we've been so far enjoying. These changes definitely seem to bode well for WMR, and will no doubt attract a lot more people thanks to a ton of extra content.
